He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Tomala and Agnus Jelinek Scheidt (late Robert Scheidt); his son Anthony "Tony" Scheidt; and his siblings, Robert "Dean" Scheidt (Charlotte), Patricia Stotts (Glenn) and Frank "Terry" Scheidt.
He is survived by: his wife Roberta Howard Scheidt; his sons, Jeffrey Scheidt of San Pierre and Donald Scheidt of Muskegon, Michigan; his stepchildren, Clayton Ray Morgan, Jr. of Lily, Christal Morgan Hopper of St. Cloud and Shannon Dean Morgan of Corbin, Kentucky; his sister Sandy May (Kenny) of Columbus, Indiana; his grandsons, Austin Hopper and Caleb Hopper; and his great grandchildren, Ella Snow Hopper and Eli Frost Hopper. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
