We are sad to announce that on August 4, 2025, at the age of 92, Dorothy Ann Scheer of Lone, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Willett and Margaret Wurth Willett; her daughter Mary Scheer; and her siblings, Rose Duppong, Mary Ward, Paul Willett and Clark Willett.
She is survived by: her husband Francis Scheer; her children, Beth Krimple (Herman), Monica Spurlock (Ronnie), Charlie Scheer of Paducah, Kentucky, Tim Scheer (Nina) of Paducah, Kentucky and Robert Scheer of Paducah, Kentucky; her siblings, Bernadette Gerberding (Marvin), Annella Waldridge, Monica Stout, Regina Knott of Herndon, Virginia and Louis Willett; her siblings-in-law, Judy Willett and Bill Ward of Louisville, KY; and her grandchildren, Russell Krimple, Kimberly Stone (Patrick), Rachel Riley (Justin), Emily Evans (Brandon), Ron Spurlock (Kayla), Ryan Krimple and Robie Scheer. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren: several nieces and nephews.
A prayer was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (6705 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003).
