With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Roy B Smith of Lone, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As Roy departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roy leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his stepchildren, Julie McElwayne and Marvin Lynn Reynolds; his siblings, Estelee Christian, Arvel and Ollie Smith; and his parents, Vernon "Vernie" William and Annie Cope Smith.
He is survived by: his son Roy Vernon Smith (Karen) of Paducah. He is also survived by four step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
