He was predeceased by: his stepfather Jim Scoggins; and his mother Clara Scoggins. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Parker Parvin of Ledbetter, Kentucky; his children, Susan Parvin (Melissa) of Alabaster, Amy Wood (Jonathan) of Birmingham, Alabama and Chad Vaughn (Stacy) of Smithland, Kentucky; his brothers, Bill Parvin (Charlotte) of Alabaster and Jimmy Scoggins (Mindy) of Alabaster, Alabama; his grandchildren, Bailey Vaughn, MaKayla Harris, Abby Wood, Mary Wood, Kaylee Wood, Sam Wood, Krewson, Ozzy and Sully; and his great grandchildren, Marlee Harris and Brylee Harris.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Lone Oak (3745 Old US Hwy 45 S, Paducah, KY 42003). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
