She was predeceased by : her parents, Otho Sims and Pauline Thompson Sims; her siblings, Mary Lou Krill and Kenny; and her siblings-in-law, Sarah Sims, Jude Ballard and Harry Hagan.

She is survived by : her son James Sims (Christy) of Holy Cross; her grandchild Cameron; her stepgranddaughter Jessi Manley (Doug); her sisters, Margie Beam (Freddy) of Bardstown, Katsy Hagan of Louisville, Lorine Ballard of Louisville and Rose Mary Edlin of Loretto; and her brother-in-law Jake Krill of Louisville.
