She was predeceased by : her husband James Reuben Taylor; her parents, John Barton Smith, Jr. and Margaret Stella Reed Smith; and her siblings, Evelyn Marie Smith, Edward Leo Smith, Joseph "Herb" Smith, John B. Smith and Richard Albertus "Buddy" Smith.

She is survived by : her children, Lisa Osborne (Matthew) of Loretto, James Barton "Jimmy" Taylor (Jenny) of Springfield, Joseph David Taylor (Amanda) of Springfield and Frankie Taylor (Lisa) of Manton; her siblings, Betty Nally of Fredericktown and Bobby Smith (Alline) of Loretto; and her grandchildren, Ben Taylor, Madeline Taylor, Cody Osborne, Taylor Osborne, Callie Taylor, Daniel Taylor and Noah Boblitt.
