He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hamblin and Bernice Maggard Hamblin; his sisters, Marie Sizemore and Bonnie Lou Maggard; his grandchildren, Dakota Bauer and Isaac Morris; and his nephew James Thomas Hamblin.
He is survived by: his wife Lula Hamblin of Lost Creek; his children, Crystal Burroughs (Tim), Audrey Napier (Brandon), Janice Bauer (Raymond), Sue Halbert (Lee) and Brian Spencer (Angel); and his brothers, Donald Hamblin (Rita), Donnie Wallen and Hargis White. He is also survived by grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Hazard, KY 41701-1922). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
