She was predeceased by: her parents, Proctor Senters and Elsie Senters (Hammonds); her husband Bobby Joe Preston; and her siblings, JoAnn Short and Douglas Senters.

She is survived by: her son Robert Steve; her daughter-in-law Peggy Preston; her grandchildren, Brittany Stacy, Morgan Stacy and Michael Preston; her great grandchildren, Carson Stacy, Madelyn Stacy, Brynleigh Stacy and Gracelyn Preston; and her sisters, Betty Bentley, June Diamond, Faye Hughes and Jean Burchett.
