It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Racine Thompson of Louisa, Kentucky, born in Fort Gay, West Virginia, who passed away on April 14, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Mont Thompson and Louise Thompson (Maynard); and her siblings, Polly Fannin, Maggie Johnson, Linda Sluss and John "Buck" Thompson.

She is survived by : her siblings, Joeann Elkins (Dave Osborn), Dorothy (Chester Meredith), Beverly (Tim Felts) and Clifford "Tommy" (Brenda Thompson). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home (201 W Main St, Louisa, KY 41230). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Thompson Cemetery.
