Eldred Eugene Hughes Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eldred Eugene Hughes of Louisa, Kentucky, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Hughes and Eula Compton Hughes. He is survived by: his wife Una Fry Hughes; his sons, Eldred Hughes Jr. (Lindsey) and Darryl Hughes (Karen); his grandchildren, Heather Dibler, Jason Hughes (Kim), Dustin Hughes (Kelli), Joe Hughes (Kristi), Jose Hughes, Angela Hughes, Austin Hughes (Kate) and Brianna Hughes; his great grandchildren, Faith Dibler, Angel Dibler, Lilly Dibler, Chloe Hughes, Tristan Gandara, Evelyn Drezner, Drake Hughes, Julianna Hughes, Bentley Hughes, Mila Hughes and Johnny Hughes; and his sisters, Phyllis Kline (Gordon), Fannie Spyers (Ron), Joan Frazier (Gene) and Debbie Perkins (Henry).

In lieu of flowers the family as that expressions of sympathy be made by making donations to the local chapter of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
