He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Copley and Cora Porter Copley; and his siblings, Doris Porter, Lorene Sparks and Harold "Ed" Copley.
He is survived by: his wife Oretha Copley; his sister Helen Anne Dingus; his children, Tammy Spears (Billy), Kenneth "Mike" Copley (Dianne) and Frankie Copley (Trish); his grandchildren, Jill Kitts (Brad), Bobby Spears (Kryssi), Shawn Copley (Elizabeth), Christopher Copley (Angel), Catilyn Parson (Trey) and Mashea Meade (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Braden Kitts, Brianna Wilson, Brooklyn Spears, Brantley Spears, Bristol Paige Copley, Regan Copley, Brylee Copley, Harlen Copley, Alydia Parson and Maizley Parson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Young Funeral Home Chapel (111 W Main St, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Lynch Cemetery (330 Saltpetre Rd, Fort Gay, WV 25514).
