He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Adkins and Ruth Adkins (Borders); his wife Laura Adkins (Berry); and his siblings, Eddie Adkins, Jody Adkins, Sandy Adkins and Stephen Adkins.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Christian (Ed), Doris Burchett (Paul) and Archie Adkins (Vickie); his girlfriend Amanda Marcum; and his close friend Chrisie Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
