He is survived by: his children, Debra Carter (Dock) and Doug; his stepchildren, Sandy Castle, Melissa Davis (Aaron), Kristy Fugitt (Jason) and Gregory Vanhoose (Christy); his grandchildren, Roger Jr. VanHoose (Samantha), Dock Carter II (Laura), Joseph VanHoose (Heather), George Roy VanHoose (Colleen), George Elbert Carter (Ingrid), Christopher VanHoose (Jessie) and Jessica VanHoose (Ryan); his stepgrandchildren, Tyler Castle, Laiken Berry (Zack), Kelly Davis, Kyle Davis, Abby Vanhoose, Lexie Vanhoose, Tyler Eady, Drew Eady, Pheobe Fugitt and Michael Fugitt; his great grandchildren, Avery, Tannner, Samuel, Mattie, Brooke, Hannah, Matthew, Cole, Teagan, Tristan, Annaleigh, Camron and Andrew; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gunner, Gavin and Kyla.
