He was predeceased by : his parents, Claude D. Ash and Letha Opal Ash of Olive Hill, Kentucky.; his siblings, Danny Ray and Bonnie Sue; and his wife Lynn Skaggs-Ash.

He is survived by : his children, Bryan Ash (Monique) of Lancaster, Danny Ash (Brandi) of Louisa and Tamaira Ash of Louisa, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Bryanna, Daphne, Bryan Nicholas, Daylan, Sidney, Madison, Jacob, Sawyer, Maverick, Remi and Vera; and his great grandchildren, Adelynn and Brailee.
