He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Elmer Johns and Elva Williams Johns; his son Christopher David Johns; and his brother Clyde C. Johns. He is survived by: his wife Doris Lampert Johns; his children, Beverly Blankenship (Gary) and Kevin Johns (Betsy); and his grandchildren, Ryland and Caroline Johns.
