He was predeceased by: his parents, James S. Ball Sr. and Mary Ball (Pennington). He is survived by: his wife Mary C. Ball (Wellman); his close friend Johnny Maynard; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Davies, Bob Levering and Richard Endicott.
