He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Mahon and Stella Mahon; his former wife Geneva "Jenny" Mahon; and his siblings, Goldie, Woodrow, Chester, Dixie, Vesta "Bay", Bessie and Sylvia.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Mahon; his children, Shaunna Stroud (Steve) of Fort Gay, WV, Keith Mills (Stephanie) of Louisa, KY, Theresa Hannah (James) of Huntington, WV and Pearly "Cotton" Thompson of Fort Gay, WV; his grandchildren, Taylor Evan (Briyce), Dylan, Takoda, Tyler (Madison), Kayla (Elliott), Abby, Sarah, Jessic (Andrew), Heather, Brittany, Megan (Dustin), Jacob (Kelsey), Josiah (Lily) and Gabrielle; his siblings, Rob, Patty Sue, Anna Lou, Esta and Jean; and his sister-in-law Jo. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and another little boy.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Isaac Park Church (198 Clayton Branch Rd, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
