He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Everett and Rebecca Evelyn Harter Cade; and his brothers, Carlos "Joe", Charles Junior Cade and Paul Everett Cade.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Thompson Cade; his children, Stephanie Cassell (Ronald), Gwendolyn Justice (Dave) and Dewayne Cade (Ann); his grandchildren, Caitlyn Thompson (Cameron), Ian Cassell and Madelyn Justice; and his sisters, Florence "Sis" Breneman, Elizabeth "Liz" Price and Bernice Hollar. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
