He was predeceased by: his daughter Jeannie; his parents, Virgil and Dorothy; and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Martha; his children, Missy Moore (Jerry), Shirley Fitzgerald (Kelly), Patricia "Jo Jo" Hylton (Tim), David Preston (Jessica) and Jennifer Jude (Timothy); his son-in-law Clarence Wells; his son Phillip Sidelell; his siblings, Connie Jewel (Dennis), Rosa Lee Daughtery (Byron), Brenda Bopps, Virgil Marcum Jr., David Marcum (Sue) and Bradley Marcum; and his niece Melody Hardin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Hope Church (5615 Hwy 1690, Louisa, KY 41230). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
