He was predeceased by: his father William J. Vinson; and his sister Sunny Lou Beaver. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Coffey Vinson; his son William Kip Vinson of Prichard, WV; his granddaughter Lauren "Punky" Vinson; and his brother-in-law Edford Coffey.
