He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Wheeler and Nora Parker Wheeler; his wives, Edie Wheeler and Shirley Wheeler; his siblings, Opal Wells, William R. Wheeler, Marion J. Wheeler and Alvin Wheeler; and his stepson Michael Schumm.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Terry Lawrence, Stephen Schumm, Carole Dawn Fallon (Dan) and Heather Lynn Arnold (Derek); his stepgrandchildren, Corey Lawrence, Kyla Lawrence, Heather Schumm, Alexa Russi, Andrew Berhorst, Cooper Arnold and Duncan Arnold; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sage Lawrence, Patrick Brouillette, Jace Russi, Stavi Russi, Jasper Berhorst and Willow Berhorst; his siblings, Wilma Jean Doty, Mabel Irene Bond and Charles H. Wheeler (Sherry); his sister-in-law Shirley Wheeler; his great-niece Aubrey Doty; and his close friend John Dillon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The military honors will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Castle Cemetery.
