She was predeceased by: her parents, Laben Shivel and Herma Vanhorn Shivel; her husband Paul Filmore Rice; and her daughter Angela Rice Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Paul Rice (Susie) and Tamara Rice Hardin; her grandchildren, Clark Rice (Breanna) and Natalie Hill (Jonathan); and her great grandchild Boone Rice.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Chapel Church (62 Southside Loop Rd, Louisa, KY 41230). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Chapel Cemetery.
