She was predeceased by: her parents, Hershel Prater and Sweeney Prater of Tennessee; her husband Sterling Hayes; and her children, Sterling Hayes Jr. and Molly Hayes Dixon.
She is survived by: her sons, Nick Hayes (Sabrina) of Webbville, KY, Howard Hayes (Angela) of Louisa, KY and Eric Hayes (Susan) of Louisa, KY; her grandchildren, Carrie Hayes Kitts, Lance Hayes, Heather Hayes, Matthew Hayes, Kayla Hayes Kelly, Scott Hayes, Cody Hayes, Gabriel Hayes, Tony Hayes and Nick Hayes; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Hayes, Makayla Tussey, Addison Skeens, Kelsey Hayes, Chandler McKinster, Kendra Kelly and Evelyn Hayes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
