He was predeceased by: his parents, James Alfred Winfree and Christine Marcum Winfree; and his brothers, Lynn Dale Marcum (Sandy), Gary Marcum (Rita), Herman Winfree and Jimmy Winfree.

He is survived by: his sons, Joshua Winfree (Jennifer) of Louisa, KY, Pharian Dwayne Winfree (Erickah) of Louisa, KY and Cody Max Winfree (Emma) of Louisa, KY; his siblings, Arthur Winfree (Dewana) of Debord, KY, Glen Darrel Marcum (Ida Louise) of Florida and Diane Luy of Louisa, KY; his grandchildren, Honey Harless, Morgan Harless, Kelly Harless, Kira Harless and Lorieli Winfree; and his nephew Glen Winfree.

In lieu of flowers, at the family's request, donations may be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
