He was predeceased by: his parents, Curt Preston and Augusta Childers Preston; and his brothers, George, Paul, Bob and Charles Preston.
He is survived by: his children, Sheila Bowen (Joe), Curtis Preston (Neffie) and Eddie Preston (Sandy); his grandchildren, Megan Bradley, Kyle Preston, Jessica McCarty, Shelby Balaklaw, Andrea Salmons, Nadalee Preston and Joshua Bowen; and his brothers, Gary and Jimmy Preston. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
