He is survived by: his siblings, Bonnie Meade of Louisa, KY, Alice Stapleton of Louisa, KY, Nora Truitt (Frank) of Louisa, KY, Brenda Stapleton (Victor Seidlertz) of Franklin, OH, Julie Gilmore (Ron) of Franklin, OH, Samuel Stapleton of Louisa, KY and Clarence Stapleton of Louisa, KY; his siblings-in-law, Frankie Howell and Joyce Bentley Stapleton; and his close friends, Kim Preece and Jamie Hall. He is also survived by fifteen nieces and nephews, thirty-six great nieces and nephews, and eighteen great great nieces and nephews.
