It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winferd Harless of Louisa, Kentucky, born in Martin, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Walker K. Harless; his wife Ivory Harless; his sons, Billy Joe Harless (Julie) of Paintsville, KY and Winferd Harless, Jr.; his siblings, Floyd Harless, Clarence Harless, George L. Harless, Ethel Crum and Susie Workman; his daughters-in-law, Pauline Harless and Julie Harless; and his siblings-in-law, Trudy Harless, Russell Workman and Flem Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Leroy Harless (Cassandra Jarrell) of Louisa, KY, George Harless of Tomahawk, KY, Edna Jones (Tony) of Inez, KY, Jeanie Spence (Hubert) of Inez, KY and Loretta Melanson; his siblings, Homer Harless of Inez, KY, Bob Harless of Inez, KY, Mary Harless, Irene Cook of Inez, KY and Rushie Pelican (Johnny); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Harless, Helen Harless, Connie Harless and Dennis Crum. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
