He was predeceased by: his parents, James Lewis and Marjorie Sue Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Hardin; his children, Stacey Maerz (Alan) and Bryan Thomas (Tara); his siblings, Brad Thomas (Kathy), Ricky Thomas, Pam Hickey and Debbie Blakeman (Pell); and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Samantha, Zach, Piper and Hailey.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (10600 Taylorsville Rd, Jeffersontown, KY 40299). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at the Resthaven Cemetery.
