It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Combs of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 2, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Thompson and Dessie Thompson (Back); her husband Richmond Combs; her children, James Dunn, Theodore Dunn and Robin Jones; and her siblings, Margaret, Jeanetta, Angela, Buddy, Coleman and James Sr..
She is survived by: her son Chris Dunn (Nancy). She is also survived by seven grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and six siblings.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272).
