She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Elliott and Prenice "Necie" Shelton; her former husband Freeman Jernigan; her husband Miller O'Neal Stone; her daughter Anita Dawn Jernigan; and her siblings, John G. Elliott Jr., Richard Elliott, Samuel Elliott and Effie Mae Forte.
She is survived by: her brother Carl "CJ" Elliott of Louisville; her grandchildren, Shaquille Jernigan of Earlington, Shamar Pettus of Louisville, Jason Jernigan of Greenville and Brian Jernigan of Clarksville; her nephew Eddie Ray Gregory (Christine) of Cleveland, Ohio.; and her stepson Jolly Jernigan (Marie) of Drakesboro. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
