She was predeceased by: her husband Allen C. Sparrow; and her parents, Edwin Boswell Hanks, Sr. and Frances Stone Hanks. She is survived by: her sons, Jason Clark Sparrow and Chad Allen Sparrow; her granddaughters, Mollie McCoun (Jacob), Zoie Sparrow and Ashley Spears-Sparrow; her great grandchild Westyn McCoun; and her siblings, Anita Batten (Frank) and Danny Hanks (Janet). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sand Spring Baptist Church (1616 Harrodsburg Rd, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sand Spring Cemetery.
