She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Newton Ellison and Georgia Anna Stewart. She is survived by: her children, Nanci Heap (Bill Hungerford), Rhonda Royal (Mike Walker), Donna Jones (Darryl) and Bobby Royal (Michelle); her brother Barry Napier (Loretta); and her close friend Tina O'Connell. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
