He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna B. Colbert and Robert Colbert Sr.; and his brothers, Leon Colbert and Michael Colbert. He is survived by: his children, Antjuan Jefferson (Wedge), Anjenette Burton-Jefferson (Keith Burton) and Miracle Bright-Jarmon (Chris Jarmon Jr); his close friend Jacqueline Bright (Jackie); and his siblings, Robert Colbert Jr., Frances Marie Wadlington, Darlene Faye Colbert and Debbie Ann Colbert. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Israel Baptist Church (1509 Magazine St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
