He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Thornton and Melba Thornton; his wife Mary Jo Thornton; and his son Eric E. Thornton. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Howell Peter (Rick) and Robert R. Thornton (Mary Jude); his grandsons, James Howell (Kaelin) and Robert Howell; and his great grandchildren, Silas Howell and Magnolia Howell. He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
The family asks that any memorial donations be made to ASPCA or the Disabled Veterans in Bob's name.
