He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis D Oechslin and Josephine Oechslin (Bader); his wife Nancy (Williams); his siblings, Louis "Ebb" Oechslin, Mary Rose Blair and Carmel Wahl; and his nephew Greg Wahl.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Jessica. He is also survived by his stepchildren and grandchildren, eleven nieces and nephews.
