She was predeceased by: her mother Wanda Brunton (Baker); and her brother Daniel Brunton. She is survived by: her father Charles M. Brunton; her mother-in-law Barbara; her boyfriend Sylvester Sivils; her children, Beth Ann Dennis, Stephen Louis Dennis Jr. and Michael James Dennis (Casey); her grandchildren, Francis James Dennis and Penelope Catherine Dennis; and her siblings, Patrick Brunton (Pamela), Timothy Brunton (Kristie) and Susan Stidham. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Louisville Memorial Gardens West (4400 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216).
For nearly two decades, Cathy dedicated her time to supporting Team Kentucky in the Transplant Games of America and to advocating for organ donation through Donate Life Kentucky.
