He was predeceased by: his parents, Nell Elizabeth Tackaberry Cubbage and William Earl Cubbage; his wife Jane Marie Wallace Cubbage; and his siblings, William Roger Cubbage (Martha), Joseph F. Cubbage and Mary Sue Cubbage.
He is survived by: his son Charles "Chuck" D. Cubbage, Jr.; and his brother Michael Earl Cubbage (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home (3800 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John Paul II Parish (3539 Goldsmith Ln, Louisville, KY 40220). An entombment will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218).
