We announce the death of Charles Shane of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles S. Shane, Jr. and Jane Shane (Sweeney); and his daughter Melissa Anne. He is survived by: his son Matthew (Julia); his granddaughters, Melissa Mary and Caroline Elizabeth; and his brothers, Steven, Tim and Jerry.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Pearson Funeral Home (149 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
