We announce the death of Christopher Schelling of Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 41. Christopher will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Christopher will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Christopher will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Christopher’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Schelling and Nannette Schelling; his siblings, Matt Schelling and Megan Scalf (Spencer); and his fiancé Presena Brooks. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
