He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Hambrick and Mary Ophelia Hambrick; and his siblings, Alberta Battle, Lillie Hambrick and Steven Hambrick.
He is survived by: his wife Lohelen B. Hambrick; his children, Anthony Crutcher (Brenda) of Huntsville, AL, Cynthia Hambrick of Huntsville, AL, Dr. Veda Hambrick Moore (Roderick) of Madison, AL, Dr. Marion Hambrick of Louisville, KY and Michael Hambrick of Tampa, FL; and his siblings, Louise Jolly (Joseph) of Austin, TX and Melvin Hambrick (Pat) of Chattanooga, TN.. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Watson Memorial Baptist Church (7217 Nachand Ln, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at the Resthaven Memorial Park (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 10th 2026 at the same location.
