In the sacred silence of farewell, Danny is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Danny's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dohn and Mary Marshall; and his brothers, Charles Dohn, Jr. and Glenn Urban Dohn. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Dohn; his daughter Dana Forrest (Chris) of Auburn, Indiana; his grandchildren, Wendy Forrest (Jeffrey Haus) of Grand Rapids, Jared Forrest of Auburn and Nathan Forrest of Auburn, Indiana; his siblings, Susan Cook (Jim) of Conover and John Andrew Dohn (Linda) of Skiatook, Oklahoma; and his pet Sophie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ratterman Brothers (12900 Shelbyville Rd, Louisville, KY 40243). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
