With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Lyons Jr. (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry David's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May David's journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his father David Lyons Sr.; his brother Michael Vickers; and his grandparents, James, Annell Lyons, Samual A Green Sr. and Mary Green Calloway.
He is survived by: his mother Gwen Green-Lyons; his sisters, Shauna and Gwenetta; and his aunts, Betty Lyons-Marks of Greensboro, NC and Rebecca Lyons-Starnes (Shang).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Zion Baptist Church (1501 Louis Coleman Jr Drive, Louisville, KY 40211). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
