Deborah Colon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2025, at the age of 72, Deborah Colon of Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Deborah's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Deborah has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Lee and Mary Alice Roberts Markwell; and her brother Gary Markwell. She is survived by: her son William Thomas "Will" Colon (Ashley); her grandchildren, Maggie, Abby and Emma Colon; and her siblings, Jeff Markwell and Pam Kincaid.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Fern Creek Funeral Home (5406 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40291).
