She was predeceased by: her parents, E. D. James and Vinnie Bournes James. She is survived by: her children, David Baker, Jr. of Oakvale, MS, Lymon Baker of Oakvale, MS, Michael Baker of Oakvale, MS, Carolyn Crane of Miami, FL, Marjorie Harper of Oakvale, MS, Karen Baker of Louisville, KY, Annette Baker of Rochester, NY, Sandra Tyler of Saucier, MS, Sheckela Yeboah of Bethesda, MD, Michelle Carr of Deerwood, MD and Mesheba Johnson of Ocean Springs, MS. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Palestine Baptist Church.
