Donna left this world on November 16, 2025 at the age of 70, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Heinz Bussmann; her brother Mitch Gittings; and her parents, Patricia Gittings and William "Bernie" Gittings. She is survived by: her children, Erik Bussmann and Cherie Bussmann (Matthew); her siblings, Josephine Schabel and Patrick Gittings; and her grandchildren, Ethan Konrad Bussmann, Avery-Grace Nikole Bussmann, Kaylee Lynn Middleton, Madison Rose Middleton and Ruby Marie Middleton. She is also survived by her family and many friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Dr, Louisville, KY 40243).
