Doris Jean Slaughter Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris Jean Slaughter (Louisville, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester and Mary K. Weller; and her grandson Clayton Slaughter. She is survived by: her children, Kathy Lynn Weil and Mark William Slaughter; her grandchildren, Amber Nutter, Taylor Tillman (Nick), Krista Lewis (Steve), Dylan Slaughter (Kayla), Kyle Slaughter, Allison Slaughter, Victoria Bradley and Matthew Bradley (Ashley); and her pet Max. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40218). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
