In the sacred silence of farewell, Doris is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Doris' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her mother Pauline Carter; her stepfather George Carter; and her grandson Marco Roberts. She is survived by: her children, Alonzo Roberts (Cheryl), Prophetess Paula McIntyre (Prophet Rodney) and Ashley Snordon Gibson (Duke). She is also survived by five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greater Israel Baptist Church (1509 Magazine St, Louisville, KY 40203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
