He was predeceased by: his parents, Margaret Mercer (Nottingham) and Stanna Edward Mercer; and his brother Dennis Mercer. He is survived by: his wife Rosanne Mercer (Leake); his daughters, Hayley Rose Mercer, Savannah Paige Mercer and Cheyanne Faith Mercer; and his grandchildren, Adley and Miley.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Homes - Dixie Highway (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Owen Funeral Home (5317 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40216). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Bethany Cemetery (10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272).
