He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Patrick and Mary Grimes (Newton) of Georgia; his brothers, Phillip and Gregory; his brothers-in-law, Shannon Metts, Harmon Clem and Bubby Clayton; and his niece Nicole Renee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christy Grimes-Ludwig and Holly Brown (Jeff); his grandchildren, Grace, Patrick and Addie; and his siblings, Steve, Tom (Pam), Susan (Fred), Charlotte, Donny (Linda), Paula, Nancy (Buck), June, Chris (Josephina) and Mary.
