She was predeceased by: her parents, John William Buey and Edna Teresa Gunn; and her sister Mary Joseph Buey Wooley (James). She is survived by: her husband Michael Harpring; her children, Claire Harpring and John Harpring (Natalia); her grandchildren, Peter McGowan, Abigail Harpring, Sara McGowan and Nadiya Reyes; and her sister Judy Buey Feger (Frank).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (3705 Stone Lakes Dr, Louisville, KY 40299). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eileen's memory to the Presentation Academy Scholarship Fund (861 S. 4th Street, Louisville, KY 40203).
